Infection Prevention RN

Burnett Medical Center is currently offering up to an $8,000 sign-on/retention bonus.

We are seeking a full-time Infection Prevention RN.

This position would be responsible for addressing prevention and control of infections throughout the facility, Chair of the Antibiotic Stewardship Committee, providing PPE don/doff instructions.  This position requires special skills and knowledge in the fields of infection control, health education and counseling, and environmental health.  Ability to multi-task, establish priorities, possess critical thinking skills.  Excellent communication and partnership skills.

Education & Licensure:

• Current WI Registered Nurse License
• ACLS/PALS Certification required within 6 months of employment
• BLS Certification required
• Annual Fit test completed by internal Respiratory Care per OSHA requirement
• Basic ECG monitoring
• Infection Prevention certification and experience desired but will train for right candidate.
