CNA Program

Interested in becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant?

Burnett Medical Center is a state-approved facility to hold classes for those wanting to become a CNA. The class consists of a four-week program. The first two weeks is a 40-hour online training course with regular online attendance and progression (computer required). Must pass with an 80% or higher to continue to the lab and clinical portion of the program. The last two weeks (lab and clinical portion) are on-site at Burnett Medical Center's Continuing Care Center under the instruction of an RN trainer. The lab/clinical portion equals 35-40 hours making the total course 75-80 hours (hours are dependent of class size and progression). The completion of the course prepares you to take the state test which includes a written test and skill test.
