4-Week State-Approved CNA Program at Burnett Medical Center

Interested in becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant?

Burnett Medical Center is a state-approved facility to hold classes for those wanting to become a CNA. The class consists of a four-week program. The first two weeks is a 45-hour online training course with regular online attendance and progression (computer required). Must pass with an 80% or higher to continue to the lab and clinical portion of the program. The last two weeks (lab and clinical portion) are on-site at Burnett Medical Center's Continuing Care Center under the instruction of an RN trainer. The lab/clinical portion equals 40 hours making the total course 85 hours (hours are dependent of class size and progression). The completion of the course prepares you to take the state test which includes a written test and skill test.

Must be at least 16 years old to be enrolled in the CNA class.

  • In-Person Orientation: October 8
  • In-Person Skills/Lab: October 10, November 7, November 8 & November 21
  • Makeup Day: November 22
  • Clinical Days: December 5 & 6
Online coursework is completed between in-person sessions, with required deadlines throughout the course.
Course Cost: $700 plus testing fees
