Burnett Medical Center Announces Appointment of Megan Sandgren as New Chief Executive Officer

Burnett Medical Center (BMC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Megan Sandgren as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective December 1, 2025.

Megan Sandgren brings over a decade of experience in the healthcare industry, with a strong reputation for strategic leadership, operational excellence, and a deep commitment to patient-centered care.

Sandgren holds a pharmacy degree from North Dakota State University, a two-year pharmacy administration residency at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, and a master’s degree in social and administrative pharmacy at the University of Minnesota.

“Megan Sandgren is a visionary leader who understands the rapidly evolving landscape of healthcare,” said Ken Kutz, BMC Board of Director President. “Her passion for patient safety, focus on process improvement, and dedication to community health make her the ideal person to lead Burnett Medical Center into its next chapter.”
