Richard Bryans, CCC-slp

I grew up in the small town of Elk River, Minnesota. As an Eagle Scout, I originally wanted a career with the Boy Scouts of America, but after a mission trip to Sao Paulo, Brazil, I decided to study speech and hearing science, eventually achieving my master's degree in Speech Therapy. I have continued to stay involved with the scouting program, helping both of my sons earn their Eagle Scout rank. I love being a grandpa and wish all of my children and grandchildren lived closer.

Interesting fact: I'm an avid marathon runner and ran 19 marathons in 17 different states. #20 will be in Colorado on April 8. My goal is to run a marathon in every state.
